As I look out my window
I see summer fade away
The sun doesn't seem to shine as bright
As a beautiful summer day.

There's a tiny nip in the air
That says fall will soon be here
So watch for the pumpkins
Lots of pies are awfully near.

Autumn is a lovely time
Leaves fall in various array
It's kinda nice for a change
A colorful fall kind of day.

Go up in the attic
Pull out all the winter attire
Won't be long before it's time
To enjoy a nice warm fire.

I'll take this time to let you know
No matter the season
I'll always have time to say hello
For me that's a good enough reason.
