The sleigh was all packed and the reindeer were fed
As Santa knelt by the side of his bed.

Dear Father he prayed be with me tonight
So much work to do and my schedule is tight.

My sleigh will hold toys to grant the children's wishes
The supply will be endless like your loaves and your fishes.

Lord these things I can do only through you
If I have your blessing it will be easy to do.

I do this to honor the chosen one
Sent to redeem us your most Holy Son.

So to all of my friends as I drive out of sight
Happy Birthday Jesus and to all a good night.
