The aroma of pine as we
decorate
Our old fashion Christmas
tree
Mistletoe garnishes the
fire place
Stockings hung up there by
me.
Candles in every window
Wreath upon the door
Packages wrapped with so
much love
Singing carols as we sit
on the floor.
Grandma on the piano
Grandpa singing a little
off key
Cakes baking in the oven
Special kind of Christmas
for me.
Jesus in every room we
share
His picture on the wall
Bible verses read out loud
Family prayer was our last
call.
Off we go to Grandma's
house
So happy and so gay
Lots of food and lots of
hugs
We share on Christmas Day.
So have a happy Christmas
As I send this card your
way
And wishing you the
special joy
Of a wonderful New Years
