God had a job for someone

A boat was needed bad

There was only one good man

And Noah was that lad.

God said to build a great ship

It would be needed soon

So Noah went straight to work

Built a ship with lots of room.

It took years to complete the ark

God said take family and animals with you

So Noah picked out the animals

Marching on deck two by two.

For forty days and forty nights

It rained until God said stop

And when the water dried up

The ark sit on a mountaintop.

Now the earth was fresh again

He set a rainbow in the air

To remind us of what He can do

If we show Him that we care.
