Precious Jesus you died for me
On the cross at Calvary
You hung on that cross and suffered so
Your pain we will never know.

The greatest love in the world is free
My heart is open wide for thee
Please know that I love you with all my heart
I did from the very start.

You died for me and I'm so ashamed
Not enough did I praise your name
Yet your love was only a breath away
The words I never did say.

When I see lightening in the sky
I know you'll be coming by and by
To receive us in your home above
And covet us with eternal love.

This Easter as I say my prayers
I know you hear me because you cares
I give you my life, the way it should be
For you gave your life dear Jesus for me.
