What did I ever do
Before I met you
When no one was there
To even care.

Then you came along
Your friendship so strong
My whole life was changed
Everything rearranged.

For I had a friend
Whom I could depend
Phone call or email either would do

Thoughtful things always came from you.

Life is wonderful to me
Because now you see
I have found in you
A friend honest and true.
