Today I said a special prayer
For someone dear to me
Someone I talk with every day
Someone I cannot see.

Today I said a special prayer
For you my dearest friend
Want you to know just how I feel
And so this card I send.

You pick me up each morning
And make me laugh each night
When things are topsey turvey
You seem to make them right.

I don't know how you do it
You have this special way
And when I get discombobulated
You don't hesitate to say.

You are my very dearest friend
So I want you to know
My love and prayers are with you
Where ever you may go.
