So many wonderful people
I meet every day
Some pass by swiftly
And some just seem to stay.

I guess that's why I feel the way
That I feel about you
You seem to need a friend like me
And I also need a friend too.

Isn't it truly wonderful
With all the hate around
If we really look hard enough
A true friend can be found.

So let me say to you right now
Thank you for traveling my way
Bringing with you joy and happiness
And brightening up my day.
