My Special Friend

Summer's here so please enjoy
The warm sunshine above
And know a friend thinks of you
With joy and so much love.

We may not see each other
But that's OK you see
I don't care what your face looks like
You're still a friend to me.

When I get sad or lonely
I know just what to do
It's you, my friend, you're always there
I always turn to you.

That's why I say enjoy this day
God shares from up above
And know I'm with you always
In friendship and in love.
