have someone so special
To tell your troubles to
Or happy thoughts that you may have
A good friend there for you.
Sometimes we take for granted
Their love and tender heart
Yet somehow they are always there
Maybe right from the start.
I will always remember
The beauty friendships bring
That makes us happy everyday
And makes our lonely heart sing.
Friendships are a special gift
From our precious Lord above
He gave them to us unselfishly
To cherish and to love.
