There was a time not long ago

By chance we happened to meet

And now as friends so very close

I know you can't be beat.

Each day we try to keep in touch

So much we have to say

A friend like you means so much

To me every day.

And so I send this message

I knew it from the start

You are a dear and cherished friend

And a precious sister by heart.
