I'd Do It Again

I wake up every morning
Drag myself out of the bed
Food on the table for everyone
I already feel half dead.

When that confusion is over
The laundry must be done
I struggle through the dirty clothes
That sure wasn't any fun.

Cleaned the house one more time
Haven't stopped for a bite to eat
I drag myself from room to room
About now I'm really beat.

Got to think about dinner
Hubby wants something hot
Maybe I'll pop in a meat loaf
That's all the time I've got.

Guess I'd better dress myself
Look like I've been beat up for sure
When the family get home I'll be decent
Looking refreshed when they open up the door.

Then it's dishes that must be done
And time for homework - oh great!
While hubby reads the newspaper
That homework will be my fate.

Everyone's in bed but me
Sure hope that phone don't ring
Even though I can hardly drag around
I would not change a thing.

Yep, I'm blessed and I know it
Sometimes I think I'm insane
But if I had a choice to make
I'd do it all over again.
