I am a Senior
Citizen
I no longer have to work
I do a lot more walking now
Just careful I don't exert.

Age
has it's advantages
When I go shopping any more
I gladly show my Senior card
To get the discounts at each store.

My children thinks I'm
senile
I see them shake their head
Thinking I'm too dumb to see them
I just laugh at them instead.

Now I can honestly say
They almost drove me crazy
But now THEY have to go to work
And
I can be plain lazy.

I love being a senior
I'm happy and I'm proud
I'll stretch my age as much as I can
And accept the "goodies" allowed.

So if you see me anywhere
I may not be moving fast
Don't feel bad I'm having
fun
I'm a Senior Citizen at
last.
