Keep Trying

I'm am just a plain lady
Not too skinny nor too fat
I'm not too short and not too tall
And I can live with that.

The thing that really bothers me
I just can't get a date
Partying all by myself
Seems to be my fate.

I talk a lot and I might add
So does the rest of my kin
I can't stop eating garlic chips
That could drive away the men.

Gonna turn a new leaf over
And fix myself up real neat
Go to a club and boog-a-loog
And boogie to the beat.

Come on fellows don't be shy
I've been around the block
Shake a leg and join me
We will rock around the clock.

Just cause the chicks are younger
And all my bones don't meet
Shake a leg come get me
Cause my legs wont work my feet.

Moral of the story
Don't try to be what you aint
Now excuse me while I sit a spell
Before you watch me faint.
