I really don't remember

Can't believe that I forgot

I know I'm getting older

Over the hill I know I'm not.

I write myself a lot of notes

To remember things you see

It's not that my forgetter

Is getting the best of me.

I know what you are thinking

Put your thinker on the shelf

Or come on by and visit

And see for yourself.

Give me a ding a ling first

Let me know you're on the way

Tell me to be sure and jot it down

I may forget the day.

Nothing wrong with my forgetter

Pad and pencil is in tack

Can't wait for your visit

I'll just meet you dear out back.

Or Did You Say Front!
