Is This A Senior Moment

There is something I should remember
But goodness I have forgot
I'll ponder until It hits me
I won't budge from this spot.

Should I be home or somewhere else
Maybe watching a show on TV
Is someone coming to pick me up
Or are they just waiting for me.

Am I supposed to be sleeping
I can't remember if I ate
Maybe a shower is what I need
That ought to make me feel great.

It's terrible when you can't remember
My health is OK you see
It's the problem with my memory
That always bothers me.

I have too much on my mind
Try hard to remember it all
Have I talked to you lately
Or were you supposed to call.

I wonder why I'm standing here
In the same old spot
Is it another Senior moment
I don't know I just forgot.
