Moving In With My Children

I'm broke and I'm all alone

When all is said and done

I think now is the perfect time

To move in with my daughter or son.

Children I had and raised them

Cried a lot and lost my sleep

You know how the saying goes

What you sow you gotta reap.

I thought I'd take my pets along

Raising their pets while in a fog

I was out in the cold on animal duty

While they all slept like a log.

I'm getting old and feeble

And cannot very well see

Got aches and pains all over

It is time they took care of me.

So move on over my dearies

Fair warning I've given to you

I'm now your responsibility

Like I did you know what to do.

PS:  I expect three meals a day and I'll tell you what I want to eat, remember?

I have special programs on TV I'll watch and you may not like, remember?

I expect for you to pick up after me and do my laundry, remember?

I have no money so you can pick up the tab, remember?

If I want to do something you don't want to do I'll pitch a fit, remember?

I'll just lay around and read a book or eat chips and whatever else is on hand and you can clean up after me, remember?

Since I don't drive you can haul me around, remember?

Since I have no income to speak of I'll expect an allowance, remember?

I may invite some of my friends over without checking with you first, remember?

Giving you fair warning

I'm sure that you won't care

What goes around now comes around

Now it's time for you to share -

With Me Of Course!

I Sure Do Need It Honey!
