If I Could

If I could live my life over
I'd do so many things
Like hiking on a mountain trail
So much pleasure it would bring.

I'd ride a horse go jogging
Have a party every night
Buy a car with the top down
Dance in the bright moon light.

I'd buy a lot of pretty things
Then give them all away
Get myself more money
Shop some more another day.

I'd make friends by the dozen
Invite them to come and chat
Lots of coffee and doughnuts
Now, I really would  like that.

What a wonderful life it would be
Correct all the mistakes you made
Be happy with friends and family
Watch all your worries fade.

Alas that is impossible
A day dreamer yes I am
If I can't do all these things
I'll be the best person that I can.
