As the sun rises up above
Lovely rays will appear
Making each of us aware
  That a new day is here.

A new day has begun
Let us pray for hope and peace
And a much deeper faith in God
Pray to Him the war will cease.

Our time on earth is only a test
One we should never fail
Life full of values and growing faith
Changing hate to love will prevail.

As each new day begins again
At the rising of the sun
Let us live life to the fullest
Until our work is done.
