When I woke up this morning
Saw the tranquility of the day
I was so very thankful
For the beauty on display.
Lord thank you for my children
And their families whom I love
I'd also like to take the time
To thank you Lord above.
Keep us safe dear Father
Protect us from our foe
Please be with us everyday
No matter where we go.
Bless my friends dear Father
They mean so much to me
May this special morning prayer
Each one of them will see.
