Angel By My Pillow

When night time comes and all's at rest
A sensation I feel near
Music floats around me
Softly flowing in my ear.

A presence that is hardly there
Transparent to your eyes
Permeates throughout the room
As evening shadow dies.

Guarding me so faithfully
My angel works on earth
Watches me both morn and night
Been with me since my birth.

You also have an angel
That watches over you
Lay quietly when the evening falls
You'll feel her presence too.

Angel dear sweet angel
By my pillow you will stay
And hope that tomorrow
Brings a happy day.
