Brave men and women heard the call

They did their duty one and all

So many prayers are sent their way

Remember them all this Memorial Day.

Their dedication, a job well done

They faded softly in the sun

As each and every day slips by

We know they live, they did not die.

I ask the Lord in Heaven above

Embrace each one with glory and love.

Be with the families, remove their pain

Your loved one did not die in vein.
