They fought for our country

Not once did they complain

Separated from their families

So much hardship did they sustain.

Patriotic and devoted

As they fought to make us free

Let us never, ever forget

What that means for you and me.

Please never forget our veterans

And the price some had to pay

To give American it's freedom

Say a prayer for them today.

God Bless our precious Veterans

Not just today but every day

Make them proud of what they fought for

Never let us go astray.
