In God We Still Trust

So much we take for granted
The things we love so dear
Never a worry of losing them
Not a care nor a fear.

The Lord will take care of us
He will never let us down
Yet some of the things we do to Him
Must really make Him frown.

Why do we let foolish people
Dictate the things we do
The teachings of the bible
That we all know is true.

They take away our freedom
Make God an idol of unjust
Its time to let these lost souls know
It's in our God we trust.

Stay by his side and bide your time
His wrath is in the wind
We see it every day, beware
Just put your trust in him.

Don't tarry by the way side
His patience grows very weak
Just lift your eyes to Jesus
His love and guidance let us seek.

Enticing words of false Prophets

Tempting us each day

Put your faith in Jesus

He will show us the way.
