If I could catch a million stars
I know just what I'd do
I'd wrap them in a package
And give them all to you.

I would shower you with diamonds
That sparkle like your eyes
And open up my heart real wide
Where my love for you lye's.

I'd give you the world and more
Everything you'd want or see
But that would never measure
All that you give to me.

With honesty and compassion
You lend a tender ear
And when I look into your eyes
My troubles disappear.

But, I am far from being rich
I'd like to say impart
The diamonds I can give you
Is the love within my heart.

Something you can keep forever
Whether you are near or far
For it is a simple but precious gift
My love is where you are.
