When
we're all
together
Words we don't easily find
Yet love speaks a common language
When families have ties that bind.

Don't always show our feelings
Though we know we always should
Maybe never count our blessings
Yet they seem to
be understood.

So thankful to be living
In the comfort of each other's care
So many memories and stories
And jokes that we all share.

There may be a promise unspoken
But we're always loyal and true
We can count on friends and family
When it's sunshine and cloudy too.

Maybe show special attention
To a stranger, acquaintance, or guest
But let us never forget
Those that we love the best.

Our blessings can never be counted
Like frivolities thrown to the winds
But can be shared by those we love
Like our families are our friends.
