~Remembrance Of You~
I never knew my Jesus
The way I know Him now
There never seemed to be a need
My heart would not allow.
I thought I knew everything
Each day would pass me by
No worry, life seemed perfect
Not one cloud in the sky.
It was then my life grew dark
The future I could not see
My world seemed to crumble
Fell to pieces all around me.
My past I built all by myself
And alone I must reside
My life now in shambles
There was no place to hide.
Eyes wide open now I know
How wonderful His love can be
Where I am weak, He is strong
And I know He cares for me.
Now He guide's me every day
Through all my pain and strife
My faith restored will stay with me
For all the days of my life.
I know more storms will come my way
Dark clouds and troubles too
I'll ask for His help, reach out my hand
In loving remembrance of you.
