in His book
As He sat upon His throne
My name was whispered sweetly
It's time to call you home
All of God's angels stood
As He met me at the gate
The angels blew their trumpets
No more pain, no more wait.
With so much love and kindness
He stood by my side
He gently put my hand in His
“A place I will provide."
“For I have been preparing
A special home for you
My child you are in Heaven
Your life on earth is through.”
You will live with me forever
I am your Savior and your friend
This is where you will now live
And life will have no end.
Your love ones will miss you
And your face they'll long to see
One day soon I'll banish their tears
For all life's eternity.
Welcome my child to Heaven
Please enter my golden gate
So many other’s await you
Come now let us not be late.
