Would you have to clean your house

Before you let Him in

Would you move all your magazines

Put the bible where they had been?

Would you hide all your music

And put the hymn book out

Could you just let our Jesus in

With out rushing all about?

Do you think if He spent a few days

You'd do things as you normally do

Would you say what you normally say

As He sat there listening to you?

Do you think you'd be ashamed

To take Jesus where you go

Or would you simply change your plans

Say, for a day or so?

Would you like Him to meet your friends

And just stay on and on

Or would you be uneasy

Be relieved when He was gone?

I think it would be interesting

To see what you would do

If Jesus knocked at your door

And spent some time with you.
