Father I humbly ask you

Please teach me how to pray

And may my friends and love ones

Follow you day by day.

Times are bad dear Father

Horrible things happening every where

We don't reach out to each other

And really don't seem to care.

So many die and many maimed

Many families don't work together

Abusing life without worry

As if we will live forever.

Wake up my friend, look up to God

Pray for his help today

Ask Him to covet us with his love

And shower us with His way.

Please join me in this prayer

Pray for love and peace on earth

The way it was meant from the beginning

Of our blessed Savior's birth.
