Since Jesus washed my sins away
And banished all my grief
I have lived in precious sunshine
Happiness beyond belief.

Lead me through the fields of sunshine
Through the paths so rich and green
On the arms of love and mercy
Let me ever lean.

Rejoice the glorious love of God
His presence brings relief
Think of Him with elated joy
His love beyond belief.

I am a soldier of the cross
A follower of the lamb
Here I am dear Father
Take me just as I am.
