With all of life's ups and
downs
You're always by my side
To cheer me and comfort me
And calmed me when I cried.
At times I have this feeling
That no one cares for me
The ache I carry in my heart
Human eyes could never see.
You can't tell by my happy voice
Or the smile upon my face
The burdens deep in my heart
That only you can erase.
Sickness and uncertainties
The trauma of the unknown
My dread of waking each morning
Has mounted and has grown.
Prayer is what I share with you
With faith and with my love
I ask you God to grace my home
With guidance from above.
