~Are You ready~

We are living at a fast pace

Never a minute to spare

People rushing to and fro

Without a worry or care.

Not enough time to enjoy life

Never stop and say hello

Missing the most important things

Somewhere always rushing to go.

So much diseases and suffering
So many tears we share

Crimes continue to scare many

Death seems to be everywhere.

We read and hear of horror every day

Safety no longer secure

People scared to leave their homes
So much we must endure.

Teenagers with nothing to do
Lost in life and lost in love

Turning to pleasures of crime and drugs

Dear Lord help them from above.

So many children live in fear
Abuse and neglect fills their home
Parents so involved with their own lives

Leaving the poor children all alone.

Striving to make that almighty buck
Striving to reach the top
No longer take the time to care

Just don't have time to stop.

Children afraid to go to school
Fearing what may happen there
Disasters both natural and man created

Almost more then we can bear.

War upon wars both near and far
Lives being lost each day
People fearing the name of God

Father please show them your way.

Our Government back stabbing each other

Not interested in working together

Each striving for the limelight

Never thinking we are doomed forever.

Can't display the ten commandants
Thou shalt not speak His name
Thou shalt not kneel in pray my friend

Nothing will ever be the same.

Now we fear what will happen
You ask why and He tells us so
“My time is near my children

Are you ready when it's time to go?"

"These things and more will happen
Before I come to you

Pray today for your salvation

That is all that you have to do."

"I gave My life so that you may live
Judgment day will soon be here
The times now tells us so
I am near please do not fear."
