I am so lonely without you
I dread each and every day
Life just hasn't been the same
Since you went away.
The sun never seems to shine for me
The nights are long and sad
I don't know which way to turn
You were the best friend that I had.
So much we shared together
Plans made that will never be
I don't think you realized
How much you meant to me.
And so I sit by myself
Here in my lonely room
Hoping and praying with all my heart
That I will hear from you soon.
