Your high school days are over
A
new way of life now begins
You are on your own to make decision
Choose who you want for your
friends.
You are so dear
and special
A precious gem, we
love you so
May God always
protect you
No matter where
you may go.
Now you will go to college
A
little advice sent your way
From someone who's older and wiser
Hope it help's you through each day.
There are many temptations out there
Alcohol, sex, drugs only a few
Peer pressure you'll be confronted
with
Sometimes you'll be tempted too.
Please always remember
The morals taught in your home
The grass is not always greener
No
matter where you may roam.
Stay in pairs where ever you go
Safety in numbers is the key
Keep your doors locked in the car
and dorm
Please take this advice from me.
You will meet many strangers
Some may become your friend
Make your selections wisely
A
warning to you I send.
Don't be tempted to experiment
Serious outcomes may come your way
Have a good time, enjoy yourself
Look forward to everyday.
You want to succeed for your future
Stand up for who you really are
Don't mind praying to your Master
If
you do you will truly go far.
Be proud of the way that you believe
Not all will feel this way you know
If
you are in the minority
He'll walk with you where ever you go.
Being at the top is always nice
But not important as you may think
Do
your best, stand for what is right
You will rise and never sink.
Remember the miracle of your birth
Sacrifices made for you every day
Mom and Dad got you were you are
They will guide your way.
Good Luck and God Bless You
Stay safe in all that you do
Remember you have our love and
prayers
May each day be a happy one for you.
We
will miss you so very much
And pray for your safety too
So
proud of all your accomplishments
Each day will bring something new.
I
hope you know how much you are loved
A
void until you are back home
When times get rough just read this
page
Honey you will never be alone.
