A Firefighters Prayer

I make this promise to you today
To help all those in need
I promise all the courage I have
To fulfill each and every deed.

I'll find the strength to do my work
Whatever comes my way
No matter what the burden may be
I will never turn away.

The strength of heart and body
The wisdom to combat my fear
The Lord will always be with me
He guides me, his voice I hear.

I promise love and compassion
As a fireman I stand tall
But most of all my devotion
To swiftly answer every call.

Please also support our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) brothers and sisters who risk their lives everyday to help save those in distress and bring emergency care needed.
