Thankful For This Day

When I woke up this morning
Saw the beauty of the day
I'm so thankful for my life
So I would like to say.

Thank you for my children
And their families whom I love
I'd also like to take the time
To thank you Lord above.

Keep us safe dear Father
Protect us from our foe.
Please be with us forever
Wherever we may go.

Thank you for our blessings
Much more I'd like to say
But most of all please give us peace
On this Thanksgiving Day
